Chocolate Toffee Bars Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine 3/4 cup sugar 3 cups all-purpose flour -- sifted 1/4 teaspoon salt 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar until very light and fluffy. Sift in flour and salt; mix well. Pat dough into greased 15"x10"x1" pan. Bake in 350 F oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate morsels over surface.
